Day 7

We spent the day in Seattle at the Bellevue Club, playing squash and swimming. We ended up at Shanik for yummy Indian food.
And here is one odd fellow at Odd Fellows in Capitol Hill!

Day 6

We ended up doing a bit of wine tasting today at Sokol Blosser, a fine winery in Willamette Valley. Huub liked the architecture.

 

Day 5

Today, we made our way to the coast to Ecola State Park where we hiked to Crescent Beach and Cannon Beach and the famous haystacks.

 

And then back to hotel for a very Merry Christmas!

 

 

 

Day 4

Today we left the Ace Hotel in Portland...

for Allison Inn in Newburg, Willamette wine country, lots of pinot noir and fireside snacks.

 

Day 3

Today we ended up on the hill, the Hoyt Arboretum for a trail run.

We did make it to one of Portlands famous urban wineries, SE Wine Collective before heading to the Woodsmen. Have been seeing a lot of Oregon beards!

Day 2

After a yummy breakfast at Accanto on Belmont, we spent the afternoon walking both sides of the Willamette River, crossing the steel bridge.

Next stop the coffee shops in the Pearl District and then dinner at Le Pigeon on E. Burnside.

Day 1

A pit stop in Seattle at The Whale Wins before heading to Portland.

First stop, Kask for drinks and then to Gruner for German food. Yum!
